Dani Raval Management operates a growing family of markets, convenience stores, foodservice businesses, and lodging properties serving Lincoln, Milo, and surrounding Maine communities. What began with one convenience store in Lincoln has grown through hard work, strong employees, loyal customers, and a belief that a successful local business should contribute to the community around it. Today, our locations may serve different needs, but they share the same commitment: welcome people warmly, treat them with respect, maintain properties we can be proud of, and provide an experience our customers can depend on.

Dani Raval’s journey as a Maine business owner began on October 23, 2018, when he acquired Why Not Stop in Lincoln.
The road to Lincoln began much farther away.
Dani grew up in a small town in India in a middle-class family. His father was a priest known for helping others, and from him Dani learned an enduring lesson: being part of a community means showing up for people and helping when you can.
After coming to the United States, Dani worked in convenience and grocery stores, learning the business from the ground up. Eventually, an opportunity to own a store brought him to Lincoln, Maine.
The business opportunity got him here. The community gave him a reason to stay.
Dani discovered a place where neighbors knew one another, people supported local businesses, and hard work mattered. Lincoln became more than the location of his first business. It became the place where Dani and his wife, Neha Raval, chose to build a future and raise their three children.
“I found a community where people knew their neighbors, supported local businesses, and welcomed someone willing to work hard. I wanted to build a future for my family in a place where we could contribute and feel at home.”
— Dani Raval

Dani Raval Management did not begin with a plan to accumulate as many locations as possible.
Growth came gradually.
Customers returned. Relationships developed. Employees took pride in their work. Communities supported the businesses. Each location taught the company something that could be carried forward to the next.

Briarwood Motor Inn in Lincoln extends the same welcoming philosophy to travelers. The property serves vacationers, business travelers, contractors, families, and visitors coming to enjoy Maine’s outdoor recreation.
Our goal is straightforward: provide guests with a clean, comfortable, welcoming place to stay.

How does the property look? Is it clean and organized? Are customers greeted when they walk through the door? Is the food prepared with care? Are the products people need available? Does someone feel comfortable asking for help?
Those details matter.
For years, Dani worked 18-hour days and came to know many customers by name. Those experiences shaped the standards that continue across Dani Raval Management today.
A customer should be greeted with a smile and treated with patience and respect.
Cleanliness, organization, appearance, and ongoing maintenance demonstrate pride in both the business and the community it serves.
Customers should be able to find what they need, enjoy food prepared with care, and receive dependable service.
Good service also means listening when something goes wrong and making a genuine effort to make it right. Whether someone is buying groceries, stopping for lunch, filling up with gas, or spending the night at the inn, the principle remains the same:
'Every customer deserves a warm welcome, respectful treatment, and a dependable experience' - Dani Raval

Buildings, signs, shelves, kitchens, and products don't create relationships. People do. Many Dani Raval Management employees have been with the company for years. Their experience, loyalty, and relationships with customers help give each location its individual character. Dani understands the work firsthand because he started by working in convenience and grocery stores himself. That experience continues to influence how he leads. We look for people who are honest, dependable, kind, responsible, and willing to learn. Managers are expected to lead by example, support their teams, and take pride in their locations. Skills can be taught. Caring about people matters from the beginning.
Dani Raval Management wants employees to see more than their current job.
Our philosophy is that as the company grows, the people who helped create that growth should have opportunities to grow with it. Success here means showing up, treating customers well, helping coworkers, taking responsibility, and taking pride in a job well done.
Lincoln, Milo, and the surrounding communities aren't simply markets where Dani Raval Management operates...
They are home.
The friendships Dani and his family have developed here have made these communities an important part of their lives.
Our stores themselves often become part of the everyday rhythm of the community—a morning stop before work, somewhere to pick up lunch, a familiar place for groceries or essentials, or simply an opportunity to see someone you know.
Those small encounters matter.
Over time, a customer can become a familiar face, and a familiar face can become a friend.
“Sometimes I feel as though I have known people here my whole life. I am grateful to be raising my family and building our future in these communities.”
— Dani Raval
Dani Raval Management expects to continue growing, but growth itself isn't the goal.
The company will continue exploring additional locations, services, and business opportunities when they make sense. New opportunities should have the right people and resources behind them, strengthen what the company has already built, and allow us to serve our communities well.
Five or ten years from now, Dani doesn't measure success simply by how many locations appear on a map.
He wants Dani Raval Management to mean something.
Trust. Welcoming businesses. Well-maintained properties. Customers who feel appreciated. Employees who are proud of where they work. And communities that know we're invested in their future.
